G. Ray Howell - The Key Wizard

Hello, I am a locksmith who also likes to write software. I have been locksmithing since 1974 and I have been writing software as a hobby since 1977. :)

Most of my programming experience is self taught but in 1999 I got married and my wife encouraged me to get papers, so in 2004 I recieved degrees in Systems Administration, Programming, Network Administration and Systems Analysis. (with honors) :D

In 1998 I decide to create a software package for locksmiths because no one had made one that was complete or user friendly to locksmiths who didn't have computer experience. I now sell that software at my webite www.thekeywizard.com. :magic:

While it hasn't yet made me rich, yet, it is being used by some of the largest corporations in the world. Sky West Airlines, The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas (soon to be the largest Hotel-Resort in the world. Mr Addleson the owner is currently the 3rd richest man in the US), Treasure Island Resort, Binions (Horseshoe), The Riviera, The American Casino - Green Valley Ranch Resort, and others. B)

I was recently injured and am currently on workmans compensation untill I am repaired, so I am finally getting some time to learn VB.net so I am looking for help. A lot of my VB knowlage dosen't carry over to VB.net so I am doing research. Unfortunatly the pain and drugs are impeding my cognitive abilities and memory. So I tend to ramble or loose my train of thought. (I used to think this was a silly description, but now I understand  what it means, it is not fun.
If you have any questions, just ask. :magic:
