About 5 years ago I went to Tarija and visited http://www.sssp.org/...Observatory.htm

It was BEAUTIFUL! Since it was way out there out of town in the middle of nowhere, you could see every star you could want! I saw the moon and jupiter and mars. I remember seeing the rings moving and it was very surreal. I definitely have to go back with my family some time, it's a really defining experience.
