Your favourite text editor ?

Posted 30 October 2006 - 01:39 AM

As in topic, what is your favourite editor used to edit HTML/CSS/PHP other files?

I prefer jEdit, it has many useful options and plugins i.e. PHP Parser :)
If someone interested here are links:

http://www.jedit.org

and you need to download JRE because its written in Java, link:
http://java.sun.com/...loads/index.jsp

Tell me about your favourite editors please :)

Wordpad kicks notepad where it hurts.
I have Jedit for a while, but Java disgusts me, so I went back to good ol wordpad.

I would have to go with TextMate, for those of you who are unformillure with it, it is an OS X exclusive, extremly thorough piece of software. http://macromates.com/

AceHTML Freeware version. Too many good reasons to list why I like it.

Can be found here.

If I am doing simple, HTML, CSS, or JS I use an online HTML and javascript preview editor. Otherwise it is Notepad.
