A couple of questions - are these just for fun, practice, or a portfolio? While they look all "web 2.0-ie" and what not I see there is little deviation or stretching of abilities shown between them. Sure if just repeating the same steps is fine for some people, but where's the risk taking? The expanding of an area or style? I see a continued application of gradients and vector points tracing an image.

Also you need to brush up on your perspectives. There is something not right on on the lines and how they generate a descent view.

i m not posting these creation for fun here...
i m jst beginner photoshoper...so what i made daily i jst post it here...
and wait for u experience guys to comment ur thoughts on it... whether i m going right or wrong... where i need to brushup... so ur comment will help me alot to become a good designer.. and m interested in the same field to buildup my carrer... so just feel free to say anything related to my post.. that wil really help me... thanks again for ur comment.. i definately give more time to prespective in photoshop...

Well that puts some perspective on things. If you were looking for some crits you could have piped up earlier and I would have provided some.

Exactly what career field are you moving into?

Yeah your products all lack depth. Sure they mimic well (my guess is what you take an image and over lay vector points on it?) but are very flat and lifeless.

While replicating an object is nice and all we can agree it's pretty boring, right? Why not take your replicated product and do something odd with it? Try and add new features to it! Take a camera and... add a small lcd to the front... make a second aperture... go nuts - use that imagination! Be creative! Mash up things and see how that works. Being technically proficient in replication is one thing but that extra creative effort makes you an artist. Hell get to a point where you can create crazy gadget mock ups for ideas and devices out of thin air. Steam punk items... cyber future thing.. etc.

currently doing my engineering in computers... nd doing a course(ASP.net,VB.net)...
the idea u gave will surely help me.. creativity and imagination is main part in designing...

and the images i posted here... is not creted by taking an image and tracing vector point over it... i created all this by seeing the respective product itself...

Not bad NP... Is that from a game or have a particular meaning? Do you draw that by hand or just manipulate? If the latter I would like to see your source pictures and maybe explain what your process is.

I didn't really think anyone would get onto me for going 16 pixels over the limit... I usually do 500x150 signatures but I decided to go a bit smaller since people flipped shit when I had one that size a while ago.

And sure, I'd love to explain how I did it.

First, I added the background image (the second one down) and added various effects to it:

• Drop/Inner Shadow
  
• Outer/Inner Glow
  
• Color Overlay (Lighter Color mode, blue)
  
• Then a black Stroke, which added the background color.

Then, I resized the picture of the lady to fit the signature with the Transform tool and added some effects.

• Drop/Inner Shadow

After that, I created a new Layer just above the Ladies layer, and used the paint brush to darken her a bit with the opacity set to 30%.

After that, I created another layer below the lady's layer, and positioned it so it looked appealing and added effects.

• Drop Shadow (Opacity 75%)
  
• Satin (Multiply mode, brown, 19 degree angle, Distance 11px, size 14px)
  
• Color Overlay (brown, normal mode, 100% opacity)

After I found it all appealing, I added the text, which was a challenge for me because thats the part I'm the least skilled at, I have bad tastes .
Drop Shadow (120 degree, 75% opacity, Distance 5px, Size 5px)
Inner Shadow (same as above)
Gradient Overlay (58% opacity, 90 degree angle, normal mode, 100% scale)
