I decided to do mine in C, however I didn't try the bonus part .. yet :)

I ended up with this monstrosity. It was made using Visual-C++, and might not (probably wont) work with other compilers, because it uses some Visual-C++ specific inline assembly. Also, a lot of the code trash is because of the inline assembly acting weird and me being sleepy. This isn't nice. You've been warned
But at least it works
