hey there guys,
I just quickly wanted to find out from the PhotoShop pro's here. As far as I know in PhotoShop you get a colour replacement tool. Like I have a pic of a green shirt and want to change it into a blue shirt or whatever.
I know about that hue/saturation thing but that doesn't work as well as I expected it to.
I'm using CS3 incase that helps at all...
Thanks alot!

Select the color replacement tool, and paint over the area you want changed.
Are you having troubles finding it?
It should be under the healing brush and patch tool if I remember correctly. (Don't have ps on this comp)

Here is another tip I sometimes use. Select the area and than take brush with the color you want. Lower the opacity and paint it. It sometimes does wonders when other tools are not working out what you want you know

This is another way and much better than any other methods I've used such as color replacement, select by color range, etc. It would be a lengthy explanation so here is a link to a great video explaining how to use LAB color space to change colors.Lab color

Just select over the area of the shirt and make a new layer of a different color. Put the blending mode to Hue or Color and tweak with it a bit.
