download link for word doc

Hi to all guys,

i want to do a link in my website which opens a word document.I put the word doc in the folder of my website were are the images etc.... and did tried with <a href = "dffdfdnf/dfdgdgrg.doc">download word doc</a>...

i tried also removing the openinig and closing quotes and some thread suggested but to no avail.Where do you think is my problem?

You may need to try <a href = "../dffdfdnf/dfdgdgrg.doc"> or <a href = "../../dffdfdnf/dfdgdgrg.doc">
