I saw it your recommendation to introduce oneself, and so here I am doing so.
I was introduced to this site by a profile on myspace I left hanging out there, and </dream.in.code> sending a friend inventation. (I use the same online handle of Salindor there as well).
I have been coding (or attmpting to code) for as long as I have known about computers, with my earliest memories being around that of second grade with GWBasic.
I have a bacholors in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology, and am currently working on my masters in Computer Science with a focus in Multiparty cyptogrpahy (several people who have secrets working securely together to come up with an answer).
My current primary language right now is C (not C++), and Java. Though I figure in 2 weeks I can pick up any language, and haven't found a langauge I couldn't read (yet, though assembly and lisp come extremely close).
I figure my purpose will be dual folded. On one hand, I have a ton of knowledge which I can pass along. However, dispite all this knowledge, most of it is on algorithm design not specific to any particular langauge. So I can post tips and tricks, general algorithms, java, and c. But I will most likely be looking to increase my knowledge in .NET.
