make MDI parent and child window in swing

Hi,
I want to make parent window containing menubar and child window to that parent window in swing application,like MDI from in vb.
so plz guide me.....

I wrote a tutorial on how to create child windows using Swing in an MVC architecture here.

If your new to MVC, here's a good intro.

I really don't know what "MDI from in vb" means, so sorry if I've missed the mark.

I thought more about your question while I was in the shower - sometimes where my best work is done - and I realized you may just be asking how to do a menu to a frame. If so, check out the Java Menu tutorials online here. If you're new to Swing, you may want to check out the excellent Swing tutorials here on DIC.
