Basic design

Right now me and a friend of mine are trying to create this MMORPG and i need a few pointers on getting started! If you find the time please respond ^.^

Learn everything you can about programming in the language that you and your friend decide on, and don't be surprised if this idea never gets off the ground. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but everyday there are groups of friends all over the world that want to make the next MMORPG, until they realize exactly how much work is involved in doing it. It takes most professional companies at least 2 years to develop an MMORPG and that's with a team of employees sometimes reaching over 100 working on that game before it will ever see the light of day. Good luck to you if you do decide to continue.
