php code how to auto refresh the page

Please help me ma'am and sir?
auto refreshing the web page if the database has been added with new entry data.
just like in yahoo chat, it will just automatically display the new message coming from someone with out refreshing the page.
please help me in my project...

We are not a code-writing service. We would like to see you make a good faith effort to try to complete your task. If you can post your code stating any errors that are occurring, I am sure the members here will have no problem helping you out. But nobody is going to write the code for you.

Well, sure that works in the general sense, but I guarantee you that's not the solution for which they're looking. ;)
