Can we develop a Voice interactive application using C#?

Hello,
The other day I had thought to develop an application recognition stored voice and perform some task.Can we develop such an application using C#.Net? As I new to .Net I don't have any idea in relation to this.Can U please give the basic idea of this so I search on those lines n develop the application.

Speech API
SAPI
Speech Recognition in C#

Now go research.
