A tutorial will help

Hello, I'm new to Java and hope to actually develop games in Java, but the problem is... I don't know where to start? I think the best thing would be to learn java first, then learn how to develop a game with that language, does anybody know a good tutorial for this kind of stuff? and maybe some programs that I can download the source code with and mess around with, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If your new, I presume you havnt set up an environment yet? If not, I have just today written a blog on how to do this Setting up for Java Programming

Additionally, you can go through the java tutorial section on this website. I believe some good game tutorials have been written.
