Depending on your current level of knowledge, these may or may not help. However they are nicely done in my opinion.

Probably because your misleading title implies that this topic will contain links to good c++ video tutorials, so the people actually viewing your topic are actually after the same thing as you.

All the good information is in books. People ask if math is important for programming.

But it's really reading that is important. You read code. You read documentation. You read papers. You read books. You read, read, read, and then read some more. Programming isn't a particularly visual art...

i think it should be obvious the programing isn't something you learn by watching, you learn it by doing and reading. it's hard to see text in a video and to catch what the person meant when they wrote it, it's hard to make a video in a timely manner about programing, you can't copy and past little snippets to mess around with them quickly. i would never recommend using a video to learn programing, code is in text and is read in text so a textual format is best. i have read very few books on c/c++, in fact none directly on it so you don't need a book but there just fine. most of what i have learned has been from doing, and the doing was started by reading witch can take place in a book or on a website. bottom line read read read regardless of reading format.

I have to give this a negative score.. For two reason, One the video is set to a poor quality, and to the likes of the person behind the video, he thinks this is better for an easier read of text. And second this User is miss leading and choppy on the information that he provides for his admittance. if your going to be teaching anything within the IT world(in this case) of under any topic, you need to provide lots of information that is well video scripted..

So yes I don't like the videos. Poorly written, points the n00b towards the wrong direction(thus keeping the n00b ignorant), and uses Microsoft products(that's just my personal bias).

You know what!! I will make up my own videos!! I would hope the forum would like to join in..

But Personally, You need to read C++ books in order to better understand the language! This is a writing language, much like English can be spoken and written, but C++ can only be written. Reading books increases your vocabulary skills and writing skills.

READ READ READ RTFM!!! Stay on the forums and listen to people!!! Also give out lots of detailed information about your problems if you want to get some solution to your problems..
videos don't solve all of your problems.
