How to display euro symol and dollar symbol in IE

I have a asp.net page with FCKeditor , when the project is running the comments are add in that editor box. The comments containn text string and also currency with either euro or dollar symbol i should enter. The comments are stored in ms access database field. The problem is the symbol is not access in browser at runtime a blank box is displayes Any bode help

When you go to store the symbol into access, you can convert it to the appropriate HTML entity. Then when you read it and display it on a page, the entity will be rendered into the correct symbol. For instance, for the euro symbol you can translate it into € or entity number 8364

When encountered in a web page, it will render the appropriate symbol given that you have the correct character encoding setup (which should be ok if you are using the default).

My page contain FCK editor v2 if i entered symbol it cannot access it for example i have entered " sold for 2000" it will accept " sold for 2000" at runtime why?
