Hi All, How do you consume a web service that needs authentication?
In Visual studio i go add service reference and put in the url https://portal.chest..._bin/lists.asmx and click go, I get an error message due to authentication but no place for my athentication details? the same url works fine when i remote in and use visual studio on a server in the domain so authentication is already taken care of... Is it not possible to consume via the add reference? I just want VS to produce my client code...
I have used things such as webclient and set credentials but this is a sharepoint service so could be to many to implement like that??
any help or tips would be great!
