Graphical User Interface development using C and C++

Posted 04 February 2011 - 07:22 AM

I know C and C++. How can I use these languages to design a graphical user interface.

Please comment on:
The environment I could use - compiler/assembler etc.
Is winforms using visual studio the only solution?- at least the only I know of

Many thanks

There are many toolkits allowing you to more easily develop GUI applications using C and C++, as well as being cross-platform. Take a look at Qt, GTK, Wx Widgets.
