I am starting to use my blog after being away for the last couple of years (or ten) and would love to get the visitor/views reset to reflect current activity.

Anyway I can make that happen?

It currently stands at 3937 or something like that and that's with one, HEY HELLO WORLD! single post... <snicker>

so am I in the wrong forum? Anyone know if its possible? Do I need to pm webmaster type person to find out?

Why not take the current view count and just subtract 3937 from it?

Yes that would give me an accurate number from X date; since I know what date to count back to and what numbers to work with.

What it doesn't do is give my now operational blog and visitors an accurate portrayal of activity.

That's what I'm asking for; can someone take 2 minutes and reset that counter so that I can feel warm and fuzzy about my efforts and the response enjoyed by myself and anyone else who stops by and participates in the experience.

A two post blog with 4k visits starting over 3-4 years ago doesn't look like a 'real' blog you know?

If it's not an option or no one wants to do it for fargs sake, just say no, or something..

You do know it is possible to have multiple blogs? Just start a new one.

Hey that seems like a pretty good idea. The only concern I can think of right off is adding to wasted DIC resources of some type(s). I want to do my part to keep things running as cleanly as possible ya know?
