Hi Guys,
Can anyone recommend a good database design IDE, just software for doing E-R diagrams with? Not Visio though, I have used it and dont like it. I do like the look of Eclipse with the Visual Paradigm SDE plug in, but cant figure out how to get it up and running.
Thanks

Have you ever used Dia before? It's non-aesthetically oriented, yet catchy.
Observe the dropdown box on the left side of the screen when you load it up... Change from Flowchart to UML.

Thanks NotarySojac. I'm downloading the version for OS X now. Funny, the downloads page says, "Your dia Win32 Installer download will start in 0 seconds…" but it's clearly a dmg. We'll see what I get. Looks like a cool replacement for Visio.
I tried Eclipse some in the past. Can't remember why, but I did stop using it for some reason.
Edit: Dia is very Windowsy (looks a lot like Visio 2007 with it's interface and menus.) I think it's a keeper. May actually help me to keep from having to boot into Windows so much. Thanks again!

Thanks NotarySojack, I will give it a go, but it looks alot like Visio and even claims it was inspired by Visio... I have kind of answered my own question, I was looking for something to design R-D's like this:
Prestashop Schema
And when I opened my eyes I saw it was done with MySql workbench
