connect to a databaseusing javascript

Posted 10 February 2011 - 06:19 PM

Hi all,

I have a simple web form and I need to connect it to a database instead of emailing the information.
Will javascript help in making the connection to an access database?

A server-side language like PHP, ASP.NET, or ColdFusion would really be a better choice, as they are designed for database connections. You can use Javascript for things like AJAX to access the server without refreshing the page, but from the sound of things, that's probably not the direction you want to head.
