Skyhawk, do you have any suggestions on how to get Google to show my DIC blog as number 1 result when searching for my name? Maybe change the blog title? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Are blogs indexed by Google?

The reason I'm asking is that if I Google search for my name, my website Alphaot.com shows as the number 1 result. After this month, I won't be paying for my hosting anymore and I'd like to fully migrate to DIC's in-house blog system.

Having your name in the blog title would help. I'll have our new developer look at the blog titles and see about adding the actual blog name in there too.

Hmm you say you want to stop paying for hosting.. but no mention of the domain. skyhawk133, would it not be (or is it already) possible to allow (perhaps as part of DIC++) custom domains for the blogs?
So that Sergio (and others) could post to his DIC blog but have it also show on his domain (either as a separate custom style, or just as if it were being redirected).

I'll see if there is a plugin or something that allows that, but I don't think there is. He could setup a CNAME record with his DNS/Domain provider that sends the domain to his DIC blog.
