I was just wondering if there were any opportunities out there for internships for people with Associates degrees.. My college doesn't have any connections that I know of. I'm in Georgia btw.


Also, I was told that it would probably be extremely rare for me to get a job with just an Associates. Now I want to get my BA, but I would like to gain experience in my field while I do it.

Advice? Suggestions? Comments?

Possibility of a COOP? Find an internship somewhere that will pay you (lightly) for your services, but will also allow you to do college. Typically, you will work for a semester, go to school for a semester, and so on. Note that this means you will not graduate as quickly, but you are racking up real world experience while you get school. Worth a look at. I know that GA Tech does this, as I'm applying there next year.
