system() and GUI vc++

Hi,
I am using Visual C++ 2010, and I have a windows forms application where I need to call system() in the background, but when it is executed, a cmd.exe command window pops up. Is there any way of using system() without having the window be displayed? thanks!

Look into the Process class within System.Diagnostics to execute commands.

Of course you can always use the native CreateProcess, but if you're doing .NET using the Process class will probably serve you 100x better.
