Well it's my first weekend that I don't have to work. Just tryin to get to know the forum a little better.

Bought a case of beer last night...only got through three with the wife last night...so I'm pretty well set for the weekend beer-wise.
This weekend (here in ATL) is supposed to be quite nice. Beautiful day today and tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer. I was just earlier this morning thinking of stopping by the butcher shop on the way home this evening and seeing what they have for the grill/smoker for tomorrow. We have a neighbor's birthday party tonight so grilling tonight is out...but tomorrow I have much backyard gardening and fence-mending work...so perhaps I could keep an eye on a pork shoulder or a couple of racks of ribs slow cooking as I do my yard work.
Gotta buy them today and prep them tonight so they can sit overnight before smoking tomorrow.

Well, it's not so much the date when it happens as it is the first nice spring day. You gotta set the tone for the remainder of the year on that day.

I'll be working all day tomorrow, then getting started on my assignment/study list for Spring break. Hopefully I'll get to spend a few hours getting in some quality time with my wife and daughter on Sunday.

My brothers in town so were going to hit the skate park (he's a bmx'er I'm enept), then off to a joint birthday party. Sunday morning is 7 mile run over the hills straight to Morrisons for a greasy fry up followed by band practice at 2. Should be a good one, although I'll probally get roped into food shopping at some point...
