I have boxes round my flash objects!

Posted 22 December 2006 - 02:33 PM

I'm building a website on Dreamweaver with Flash elements. When I preview on my BT browser, everything looks great, but on my IE browser, it's a mess!

When I hover my mouse over the Flash objects, a box appears around the object. It's a dotted line, and a text box appears with the words: "clik to activate and use this control"

I've no idea what this means.... The flash objects play no problem, but you have to click inside these boxes before you can use the buttons.

Any ideas gratefully received.....

Thank you

Hi...

its Mircosoft problem, you have to activate the activeX control before use them.... adobe.com has provide the solution for that problem... that is Java Script.. but i recommend you that dont use that... bcaz most of the use dont have Javascript Enable.. so when the java is not enable its wont show your Flash movie in the explorer so plz dont try that code... you can send me request and i will send you the java script code....

regards, Shahid
