Question: Win 7 && Running xbox Kinect

Anyone have any advice on hooking this up to a PC?
Going to purchase this today
Is it a regular USB port or ???
I know that I'll need a separate power for the Kinect
I see the back of the xbox in inputs into but it looks a bit different than a standard USB with that curved edge :helpsmilie:
I'm not looking to cut wires or such, as this will be more of getting it working and then working with some code to manipulate if possible
Then I'll be ready to :scooter:

Standalone has the power adapter.. the bundled not so much.
