Most Useful Linux Distro Available?

Any posts or shout-outs about what Linux distro is the best for passcrackin, hostin, DEVin, etc. Why?
My fav Ophcrack on SliTaz

BackTrack is a great Linux distro for system penetration tests. It has great WiFi cracking capabilities for WEP and WPA encryptions.

As for web hosting, I've only used Ubuntu for a LAMP test bed but Red Hat and CentOS are the leading distro's in the web hosting industry.

And yes creative coding people use Linux. Why be so ignorant?
