As some of you may have noticed, there is a new section in your profiles called "Awards". It's something we're slowly building upon and plan to introduce lots of awards and achievements for you to earn here at Dream.In.Code. But before we get much further with awards, we need to finish the Reputation ranks with new graphics and names. So we'd like your ideas for what the ranks should be so you can earn awards for each rank you achieve.

And just to wet your appetite a bit, the new awards system will include awards for all kinds of achievements and milestones from how long you've been active, posts in certain forums, getting your topics featured, giving and receiving reputation, kudos, popular tutorials and snippets, hot topics, awards for bloggers, participating in challenges and contests, completing your profile, and tons of other fun and ever evolving ways to earn new awards.

How about a Randy Pausch award for people who make a big contribution to the community? like the people who ceaselessly pour through all the new user's questions and offer valuable advice and pointers to the budding programmers?
