Your Take on the Future of Apple

Posted 08 April 2011 - 07:27 PM

I really think that Steve Jobs is a great guy with a far more innovational mind than we realize, and I hope he gets better. I say this not just because it will get Apple back on the road to destroying inferior technology, but because he has worked so hard to get to where he is.

That is beside the point.

If Steve Jobs doesn't get back to Apple within the end of the year, what do you think will be the fate of Apple?

I think they will buy America and become a Monarchy. Then, they will die, causing their eldest son (at the time to be 8, and extremely evil) to become supreme ruler. He will then sell America to Cthulu.

"It will slowly decline into just another Microsoft"

You are forgetting Microsoft is still better than Apple. Sure they have their downsides, but still better than Apple.

They have their own gaming system.

Windows 7 is amazing.

They are not stuck up with prices (apple values 32 cents / gigabyte whereas Western Digital values 12 cents / gigabyte on their PREMIUM line).

And in your opinion what makes Apple better than MS (or rather MacOS vs Windows)?

They have their own gaming system.

So Nintendo & Sega are both better than Apple?

Just straitening the facts... I don't even use Apple. But I can't stand blatantly incorrect statements.

Apple is expensive. But it's their hardware that's known for being expensive. If one is going to compare software between two manufacturers... then jeasus christ, try to keep things on a level playing field guys! Microsoft doesn't even make hardware. Sure cell phones, the zune, & gaming consoles. But that's hardly the comparison that was made.

Being a fan boy is one thing, but mindlessly droning incorrect facts is quite another... why even bother posting if you are going to be dead wrong?

I wasn't actually calling anyone a fanboy I just couldn't resist following up with that joke. Personally I've never used MacOS but I'm a big fan of iPod/iPhone/iTunes. I find the argument between the two companies to be a little silly.

See how fired up you can make people when you tell them that one place is better than the place where they spent their money?
