creativecoding and softwareEngineer() you're both making people our age look stupid. I remember when I first joined these forums and both of you remind me of myself. As you guys grow and mature you may be able to reflect on your various posts that you have made.
Now back to the topic of Apple.
I believe that Apple will do well in the future. More than likely with their iPod, iPhone, and iPad lines. I wish that Apple would allow other companies use Mac OS X on other hardware than what they manufacture. That's the way they do things though and I won't argue with it.
I do like the simplicity of Windows and how easy and compatible it is with great software.
I love Linux, preferably Ubuntu. I like that it's free mostly and the fact that it's fun to use and learn how to use.
I love Mac OS X, well because it has an amazing UI, great development environment and innovation.

I think the topic has ran it's course, EnvX.
"Do it, I bet your level of annnoyingness will be less than his. "
Sounded like a challenged. I accepted and won.
I was repped down for removing content I realized was immature?

I am so glad I didn't see this post sooner. Very funny stuff. The thing is, it doesn't matter. Its about what you feel comfortable and productive with. I confess I am an Apple fanboi, I love the company and their products. I will never in my life again buy another microsoft device. Just trying to fix all my friends computers is a huge headache. I love my macbook pro that I had ZERO problems with and I am on my second one just because I wanted one smaller and it has better battery life. don't have to worry about debacles like windows vista or choosing between 7 different versions at all different price points just to figure out how to do business, school, or work on my machine. After you fill up your computer with programs you need to keep the virus and spyware away, your down to half your RAM. Ridiculus. I love my computer, it works when I want, never lets me down, and I can leave it on for months without shutting down and not have any intrusions what so ever.
I hate the iPhone though... great phone, yes tons of apps, but most people use the damn phone to play silly games like angry birds and what not. The signal sux and phone calls get constantly dropped... I have been way more happy with my tmobile android 4g device.
But anyways, nobody knows what will happen to apple. Look at the giants of the past: Cisco, Yahoo.... if you fail to innovate, you will lose market share. Period. Steve Jobs is not the only one at the company, you pick people that will take your ideas and bring them to light. There are tons of great engineers and product development people there...only time will tell.
Apple's market share has soared and has hundreds of millions of adoring fans.... Microsoft stock has been flat for years, and has failed on a lot of its endeavors and Steve Ballmer is an idiot that has not one grain of decent technological innovative spark in his fingernail.
in the end...who the fuck cares lol.
