I use the Intel compiler. It generates efficient code since it has various optimization features (you can generate code for a specific processor with specific instruction sets -it supports SSE4/3) including support for paralelization (OpenMP and some automatic things). On the downs side compilations takes longer and it`s not free on windows :-/

For Windows I usually use the compiler that is part of Visual C++ 2010, but sometimes I use G++ (part of MinGW).
