Well using Win32 is basically using the windows API directly -- or more to the point using classic C++.

C++/CLI i.e. C++.net gives you the power of .net, advanced memory management (garbage collection), and the entire .net API available. You can easily integrate with C#/VB.net etc.

PERSONALLY I think that if you are going to go into the world of developing windows applications in .Net you would do better to learn C# than C++/CLI. If you are working with lower-level programming and still want the capabilities of .net then write in C++/CLI.

however, I would mention that part of this is a personal bias against the non-standard C++/CLI which tends to really confuse the world of C++. However, the power of having the whole .Net API available is really a powerful argument for C++/CLI -- personally I say use C# but that just my personal view.

Well if you want to work with SDL/OpenGL then I think you pretty much want classic C++ win32 and avoid all of the C++/CLI -- mostly because you will be hard pressed to find much information to aid in using SDL/OpenGL with c++/CLI (not that it doesn't exist but not nearly as common a strait C++)
