stupid ASP error

Posted 09 March 2002 - 03:01 PM

alright, I have something this simple:
Set fso = Server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Set f1 = fso.GetFile(Server.MapPath(file_path))

and I'm getting a stupid error:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0044'

Device unavailable

/admin/file_manage.asp, line 47

(line 47 is the second of the two I've given above)

Anyone have any ideas? MSDN just says it means I'm not connected. But I know I am because the references to FileSystemObject don't error...

dump the runtime contents of file_path and see just EXACTLY is in there. if that turns out ok, dump the contents of Server.MapPath(file_path)... so on up the chain (path or object model or whatever)

device unavailable sounds %like% asking for a file on the a: drive w/no disk in.
