When I play L4D 1 or 2 with my stooges, we have a special additional rule, last one to the safe house gets locked out. It adds a little extra urgency to the game.

i didn't find the campaigns boring, but i thought the multiplayer was EXTREMELY boring. i'll buy gears when it comes out for the campaign, but that's why the beta holds no appeal to me.

i didn't like gear1 multi. even tho gears2 multi was pretty similar, i found it to be a lot more fun. its not halo or cod multiplayer but i'm still interested to see the changes made in the gears3 multi. and i got in the beta for buying a game i was going to buy anyway, so its a win/win in my book.

I'll be joining the Steam group but won't be getting Portal 2 til around the end of the month (aka "next paycheck"). My goddamn rich white Uncle robbed me today...the fucker.

I only buy around 2-3 new games every year and while I've been reacquiring my FPS skeelz on BadCo 2 of late, Battlefield 3 will be my "must buy" of the year.
