The tourism is good for the economy, of this country at least. So yeah it cost a lot but it will also bring a lot.

Looking at the adverts being played on American TV stations, leading up to the event, I would say that the Americans seemed much more excited by the whole thing than we were. I would even go as far to say that I imagine more Americans watched the wedding than Brits! :euro:

I hope this stamp isn't prophetic, it did make me laugh though!

I would second this. I neither watched nor cared about it.

Only thing I cared about was it got me a day off uni and work :)

Poor pitiful William. The whole world watches you now. No more private corners no more dope smoking. Everything is in the public now. Unless your Grandmother decides your brother is a better candidate for the throne. After all your father got passed by, so you might too. William you have my pity. I hope at least your marriage works.

I just turned on my TV for 2 minutes and it was showing Sir.Gay.Elton John with his wife/husband snooping around so I was like man lets get the F back to work.

In my opinion what's really ridiculous is the big ass wikipedia page with 137 references about this 'big event':
http://en.wikipedia...._Prince_William

Man, My whole existence doesn't have a wikipedia page but the royal wedding does!
