So not like he has a snowballs chance in hell (but stranger things have happened, so who knows?!) but would Donald Trump be one of those good for the country kind of presidents, or you think it'd just be to realign things enough for his businesses to continue to succeed?!

Everyone is pretty much blowing him off, but he has built quite a successful empire, and he aint afraid to fire some bitches. So what's the deal... The Donald in 2012?!

He is woefully under prepared for world politics. Sure international business is similar to politics, but foreign policy is a whole new ball game that cannot be solved in sound bites or a reality tv show.

Trump is doing pretty well in the polls for not being a politician.

I honestly think he should put Ivanka in charge of the Fed or Treasury. She's a strong, intelligent woman who can get things done without being overly confrontational or political. And she has a degree in economics along with a lot of international business experience, so she's more conversant than a lot of politicians who blow hot air. If he did that, I would consider voting for him.

Nah, I don't have much respect for the guy really. He lectures people as if he started from nothing and built this empire. Let it be known that his DAD built the beginnings of an empire and when Donald was of age, his dad just gave him his first building.

Since that time he has lost a fortune as much as he has gained one. I guess right now he is only a fraction of what he use to be worth.

No better than a normal politician I guess, but still a lamer.

I was going to chime in with this. He's released many books, & I believe he tanked his business (in the early 90's?) after writing one of them! So he didn't build an empire...

That being said, I may vote for him, depending on what party he's running & who's running for Libertarian in 2012.
