Masked Edit Control Permission Denied

Posted 26 April 2011 - 09:06 AM

I am getting a Permission denied error when I try to add a Masked Edit Control to an application. I am an administrator. (VB6). Can someone help me please? Windows 7 Premium, btw.

Are you trying to add it to the toolbox or the form, your post isn't so clear.

Also, try right clicking on the vb6 shortcut and select Run as Admin option.....I'm an admin on my win7 machine, but depending on your settings, it gives a registry writing error (permission denied) if i don't run as admin.
