In Theory, we already have a posting api.

I've been thinking about this for months (after implementing a wrapper around the Wikipedia API). If we simply send a http request the same way the login page does, DIC returns a cookie. Then, if we simply send that cookie anytime we want to post anything, it'll work. Send it to the index.php post url. All in all, we're simply emulating a browser.

This will work will with Sergio Tapia's API.

I would try it myself but I am scared of the ban-hammer. :(

*Sigh* This is interesting. I can get cookies, but not post.

Not as much an API but rather a "hack". That applies to a lot of other websites as well. On a sidenote, this method has been pretty well documented.

Yeah, I was talking to skyhawk133 about it yesterday. If I can get some of those extra parameters for posting, I should be fine.

At this point, I CAN log-in, just not post.
