CuteFTP / .CFM Files

Posted 29 May 2002 - 04:27 PM

I gained access to a site I'm going to start maintaining through cuteFTP.  I didn't right all the files but want to back them up on CD...Can I just Ctrl+A and drag them from the server to my desktop and burn them on CD?

I've really never touched this before so any advice would be fantastic.

Also, how do you edit .CFM files and upload them?

Thanks much,
M

.cfm files are ColdFusion templates. They're just plain text files, which you can edit with any text editor.
