XML to DHTML

Posted 07 May 2011 - 07:58 AM

Hello all! I'm new to developing, and I have been given the following assignment: Build an XSLT that will transform XML data into a DHTML page for display. The resulting DHTML page MUST be self-contained.

I have been given the XML file, and it is rather large (or at least appears large to me). I have HTML and XML knowledge, and I've just recently started to read about XSLT and XPATH. I could create an XSLT to transform the XML into HTML, but what do I need to do to make it dynamic? AJAX? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

if DHTML means HTML with Javascript, just include the script(s) (via reference).
