LOUD MUSIC & ANNOYED NEIGHBORS

Posted 17 May 2011 - 03:43 PM

It seems whenever I'm listening to dubstep, my volume goes up faster and faster until I am worried about blowing my speakers.

Anyhow, how loud do you like your music? Have you ever received complaints for it being too loud?

i generally listen to music on a loud setting. i also rock high quality headphones so they can get cranked up and maintain high fidelity beyond my threshold for pain and nobody can hear that shit next door.

ITT: Dubstep.

Also, I don't feel like it has to be loud for me. I'm the only one that needs to hear it. I must be old x__x

I've listened to dubstep for awhile now, but I never have the chance to play it as loud as I can.

Gasmic

I get to go to bonnaroo soon and pretty much the only reason I can't wait is because of Bassnectar.

+1

This is the only way I am able to enjoy music simply because any other way and I get someone complaining one way or another. With headphones, I am able to go into my own world and listen to my music.

...why have I never heard of this before? My life is now a step closer to completion with this new genre.

No, seriously, no sarcasm intended this time (for once.)

Dubstep is, BY FAR, one of the most obnoxious things I've heard in my life.

WOMP WOMP WOMP != music

I usually listen to my music with my MP3 player plugged into my entertainment system, so it can get loud rather quickly. Though, I have a feeling that my neighbors are afraid to report me, because my music can go from idle flutes and acoustic guitars to bagpipes, giant drums, and finnish people screaming about dragons and vikings.

Until the police knock on the door, you haven't really crossed the loud music + annoyed neighbors line...

One time the really loud, obnoxious guy, was a cop. I usually answered the door, because I'm huge and can block the cop's view of any contraband we might have missed. Cops are usually pretty cool if you're not an asshole and promise to gag the cause of the disturbance. "I don't want to see you again tonight..."

Minus the bagpipes, that's true for me too :P But mostly Vikings and dragons.
