I encountered this site and thought others might find it of interest:

OODesign.com

In particular, it is unusual to find a site solely dedicated to object oriented design.

(The code is in Java.)

How To Transform Your Problem-Solving And Creativity

Quote

When you’re looking for a creative solution, the most important part is to define the problem first. Taking time to outline the problem will help you to understand what you need and how to solve it. Often, what you thought was the problem is actually covering up the real problem.

About the only thing www.w3schools.com is good for, is looking up syntax. There are better resources, it really depends on what you are looking for.

That flow chart is so horribly laid out. Why do I have to follow the arrow to read whether I should, indeed, be following that arrow? Amateurs.

Also learning Python is not a great help in getting to Facebook when compared to PHP (Hack in particular).

They *do* do a lot of interesting work in systems verification, building a lot of fancy static analyzers in OCaml.
