[link] So You Want To Be A Pixel Artist?

I was lacking a news or article location so I'll dump this here for anyone to look at. Sure.. sure.. it's a little rusty from 2001 but I think enough people are looking at 2d games to make a note of it.

Nice link.

I remember a game I used to play a while ago called Endless Online. It was duplicated using an emulator, and private servers started popping up around the community.

Along with the C++ programmers that where created from the servers (C++ was a must-know to create your own server), the graphics where copyrighted by the original owners, and thus created quite a few talented pixel artists.

I'm not sure if pixel artists are in high demand these days (at least in this fashion, though I guess they could be hired by mobile development companies that like to make classic RPGs), but I find it's good practice.

I'd also like to see a link to this inside the game programming resources thread. Great find, modi123_1.

Just a few apps I would like to sprinkle that I use when playing with my pixel bits.
