I need to design a software for my own for WINDOWS

I Know C,HTML,and learning PHP.

Actually iam a CG Professional, and iam interested in learning every thing in a short period
for the products i need to make on my own.

i need to make a application software like the application provided by WWW.DIGITALJUICE.COM
they are provided a Juicer Software (the application is free to download, or i can sed the links if any one needed) for CG Footage, I want to design a application like that on my names with my content

So plz help me in getting the subject required for that and the pipeline to go through.

I need all the helpful data on this subject.

Please any one help me in this.

Welcome! You have a tall order there and I am worried you might not be able to complete it with your current skill set and level. Learning the basics to get your application even started will take some time. Are you taking classes currently, or are studying from books? What's your time line?

i have no time to go to institutes. But iam interested on this project from last 2 years but iam not getting the correct information from my friends.

plz help me in this and i need to make it as quick as possible and am having that capability to learn quickly.

Actually i can tell u my requirement and need.

iam a CG Designer VFX and i am planning to make sale of my creations like "Phot Backgrounds, Video Footages, Editing software Effects,transitions,Photoshop styles,Actions,video editing templates for quick production to those people who are working for Photo studios ,marriage video editings, cable tv adds etc..,"

Here i need my own software to browse all my content in that software and to drag the item what they wanted to the related software if possible.

And more over all my content is to be in another format which was able to recognige by my sotware and to work when my application is opened only (if possible) or else just like a browser

i think u got the point what i need .

Help me in this . I can go through this if the way hard or smooth , but ihave to make this.

Are you asking about a web page or a desktop application?

i need the proper pipeline for this project

means what are the programming languages needed
and what are the applications,tools needed to make a juicer software

or a file browser for audio, video, picture, (jpg,psd,png,tiff, etc)
and to drag them in to photoshop, adobe premiere, Avid liquid, after effects.

i need to make my own application software by my own

Desktop application.

all my content is available by CD or DVDs only.

when installing the cd the content is to linked to that application paths and the demos of further content have to be added to that application.

In theory you could do it in any .NET language - VB.NET or C#. You can get a free 'express edition' of the Visual Studios IDE from Microsoft's website.

From there it's just a matter of displaying thumbnails for all your images, an using the audio player namespace for those files, and something similar (probably windows media player library) for the video.

This is only for *VIEWING* your content, right? Not creating anything in this program, right?

and for security reasons i need to convert my content(files) to other format which is recognised by my application and thaey have use that files when my application is minimised. here i need to make login pannel in that application.

my friend told that juicer is made by ASP.net

is it right?

Are there any books or videos to learn the subject i need for this or any source codes on internet

(But i need to learn first even to apply the source codes , right)

and one more thing my file updates have to be updated to my application through internet or through a file from cd.

So that they can know the new content which they need to buy.

You want a chat application and forum built into the desktop application? I would say have links to a website and do that stuff tehre.

Juicer the app or the site? I have no idea about either, but you don't write desktop applications in ASP.NET.

On what? .NET development? Yes - there are tons of them. We have tutorials here, youtube has a ton of videos, and amazon has a bajillion books. It'll all take quite a bit of time before you have enough down to do what you are asking.

Here iam having one more doubt, according to your words i can make the application, but how can i make my files to change to another format which are able to open in my application (like a rar file needs winrar to open).

here i wanted my application as a bridge to the softwares using by the clients and my files.

It's all about encrypting them in one format, and being able to decrypt them to see them in your application and then also be able to be opened in another application. It will be super tricky.

now give me some idea on how to go through this step by step.

i dont know the process here , so iam asking u your idea on this project if u are in my place how can take the steps to complete this.

with that i can go through it to learn in simple process bcozz i didn't have much more time daily.

here to avoid piracy i have to set a dongle or serial number protection with mac id (there is only one mac id for one pc) for my application.

when client sends me the id i can give them serial number in that others cannot use my application.

is my idea right or not? and help in completing this project.

Honestly there is no way I can tell you exactly what to do. As a person who has been writing code for some time I know what I would do but that wouldn't make much sense to someone who hasn't programmed before.

In general"

- pre work

• sketch out the design
  
• list all the features
  
• determine how each button click will do

- programming

• learn how to interact with visual studios (or what ever IDE [ integrated developer environment ] you are using)
  
• learn about variables, classes, objects, loops, etc.
  
• learn how to build a basic winform with VB or C#
  
• learn how buttons and events work.
  
• learn how to display video, audio, adn all your other files types in some sort of order.
  
• learn how to encrypt/decrypt file types to keep them unique to your program.
  
• figure out how the chain of events and commands needed to make it look like you are grabbing something on your app and dragging it to foreign application
  
• deal with updating the software
  
• deal with installation and how do to that.

Ah, no. There is no way I will be able to "teach" you enough for you to do this on your own in say a month. Frankly I would have to be paid.
