Hi, I pretty much got the coding of my huge website done. Well at least the structure.
I made many icons pretty fast and quick and most look ulgy.
I am here to ask where I can brush up on my art skills. I use gimp and blender.
The Icons I need to make are arrows well I got to redo. I got arrows, hard drive, folder, a picture or image.
I might need to have to redo my divs. I have all divs borderless. It makes the divs look like paper like construction paper. So I assume that I should have a black small border to make it look not like a piece of paper.
Is it always a must to outline your art in black?
I am new to the art world of things. I need to be able to at least make some decent artwork for my icons.
I would like a tutorial that teaches you on basic concepts... like the first step to draw something is to figure out the point of view how you want it to appear. I want mainly my icons mostly as if your staring at it.
I would like any tips any of you have about making graphics for your website. I been looking threw some tutorials on here on gimp.
I made my own icy texts. I would like to try and keep into a frosty theme.

If you are looking for icon design flip through psd tuts... good stuff.

if you are looking at more digital drawing and painting check out conceptart.org for theory and a place to show case.
