ok bud, here's the way it works, C++ it's being out-dated as we speak, now it's C# pronounced (c sharp), wanna learn it, check out this site csharphelp wanted to learn from more than a website, try some of these books check them out here

i hope this helps you out a little bit, my understanding is that C# is internet friendly programming...check it out :)

i wouldnt quite say its being outdated till it becomes more used, you know, like not the standard anymore.

now, telling him C# is internet friendly, is one thing, potentially pushing him outta the C++ programming, is another.

i dont know if you noticed it, but the thing people like about c++, is that its easily ported to many systems. i.e. screw mircosoft.

Nighthawk, don't tell people things that aren't true. C# isn't meant to (nor will it ever) replace C/C++. C# is Microsoft's answer it Java, not C/C++. Since Microsoft lost the court battle over its ability to manipulate Java they've made their own variety.

Secondly, C# may _never_ become a widely used language. Microsoft's implementation isn't even officially released, how can you be saying that it's the future?

eagle: i dont have much experience, so dont take what i say as fact, but i dont think C# can do all of that stuff. Like null and void said, its more of microsofts answer to Java.
