Only default XML skins display on Windows 2000 Server

Post icon  Posted 08 February 2007 - 12:54 PM

Ok, I must be missing something. On our Windows 2000 Server SP4 , no matter what skin I change my CFFORMs to when using format="xml" the server only displays the default skin. Even if I give it the absolute path to the skin it still only shows the default skin.

I'm going crazy trying to use a different skin. It works perfectly fine on my Windows XP SP2 development box.

Am I maybe missing some xml drivers on the server? I know the scripts path is setup on the server also.

This is a ColdFusion MX7 server.

I've even used the samples from the dev handbook to make sure and I just can't get anything other than the default skins to display from the server.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Just found the answer to this vexing problem. Apparently when I upgraded the server from CFMX6 to CFMX7 the CFIDE folder was not copied into the web root folder for IIS. It was still sitting in the cf_root\wwwroot of the ColdFusionMX7 folder.

Found this answer at:

Now that the CFIDE is at my web root all is well and the XML/XSL pages are processing correctly with the correct skins.
