i use sublime text to build and run c++ progrmas its simply amazing.

I prefer c.Code::Blocks, but just because its interface is really awesome and it looks very friendly, in my opinion. (I use a GNU GCC compiler, and I got used to it, but I think there are other compilers that are better...)

Why?

Why should we not use Turbo C++?

There are many modern, and free, alternatives, see the rest of this thread.

I use emacs + g++ for doing C++ programming.
I use Linux, really can't stand Windows.
I have been teaching computer science for about 33 years here at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. I just discovered this site while looking for sites that deal with programming issues. As a family man with grown kids and a wife who has businesses that I often help with, I need more in the way of communication with others of my type (programmers!) because my family is just not into that.
