Thanks for the clarification Nick. Everything appears to be working. Does anyone see any places where I could be leaking memory? How, does someone realize in a program that they are leaking memory?

They use tools to detect memory leaks.

Thanks for the help! Last question: how do I create and destroy a node in my insert so that it doesn't leak memory?
