So lately I've been feeling quite depressed, blue, and in a rut. What better to do in that situation? Change! Normally I go get my hair did, and get a mani/pedi, but this time I just got my hair cut. There's something oddly relieving about getting 6-8 inches chopped off your head. You just feel so much better! But I also did something kinda impulsive, and I do not regret it at all. I adopted 2 precious baby angels. I know, I can't really afford it, but I'll starve for these girls, I don't care. Plus it was buy one get one free sorta lol. I was only going to get the gray tiger, but the woman who fostered them said she'd pay for the other one if I could take both together. They're little bundles of joy, and last night, for once, I cried tears of joy instead of depression. They've only been here for like a day, but already I feel a thousand times happier for having them. Gus Gus hates them, so I moved him to the living room (I'm not ignoring him now, I just want fuzzy cuddle buddies).

The babies are only 8 weeks old. They're about as long as my foot. >=3 So freaking cute. And playful too. ^__^

With my brief, but disappointed, flirt with The Big Bang Theory one of the only few episodes available on Hulu was where the main character (Sheldon? Shelly?) became depressed, refused to admit it, and started hoarding cats. Don't be that person.

I am personally trying to keep things on an even keel. Too much change has been my plague.

Sorry to hear that you've been feeling depressed, life's just too short for that. As for me, no major changes really, but hopefully I'm moving away for University this September, so that will be a huge change.

I hadn't even realized I was depressed really until I broke down crying twice within a span of a month for no apparent reason. Then it kinda hit me. I got so good a hiding my own emotions that I now hide them from myself, thus not realizing I even had them. Plus I started finding out a lot of shit about my familia that they've been hiding from me (which hurts my feelings) that totally changes my whole paradigm. o__o Like come on. One of those discoveries is what I'm convinced is the reason I'm always sick.

Moving away is stressful, remember that. If I were you (even though you're not moving completely) I would go and every month throw out half of your stuff until you're down to a bare minimum. I did that last year and not only did that making packing way easier, but it was a huge weight off my shoulders.

And CC, we went to PetSmart to get crickets for my friend, then I saw the pet adoption sign. I was like awww and when I went back there I saw Cleo and fell in love.

I have a human baby that will be 14 days old tomorrow, that brings change to any household. Her big sister just turned 4 and totally adores her, which is pretty cool.
Also, my landlord, with whom I haven't had an actual lease for about 2 years now, showed up about a week ago and told us we have 3 months to gtfo because he wants to live there. If it was 6 months from now I might have been ready to buy a house, but right now I'm just too screwed, so we're going to have to move into another rental, which is kinda depressing.

We had our dog trimmed to really short hair. So it is kind of a major change for her. (My avatar is not updated to reflect that.)
Our daughter and her boyfriend moved out, finally. Big change for us and them.

I've been getting generally sick of my current situation, which fortunately coincides with what could be an awesome career move. If it goes well, I'll be moving across the country and leaving the bullshit behind. I'll also probably pick up some sort of animal from the local pound if I move.
